The place was much much nicer than any other. We looked at or stayed at in Romania for us. It was a great value for the money. It was nice to finished and also had a bit of outdoor style. We love the outdoor dining room. We had a wonderful breakfast there. How do you recommend this place if you're traveling by car and you need some peace and quiet.

The owner told us about the turistic points of interest in the area and he was so kind to set up a boat trip on the Danube for next day.
The property was clean all around. It has outside cooking facilities like grill, gas stove and all the utensils. Being all day away we choose to order or to pick-up from Krypton Pub and grill (24 minutes away).

There is nothing else to do in the city, no activities, no bars, many restaurants were closed, the buildings are old and not renovated with a great lack of facilities. Great view of the Danube. Endless possibilities of boat tours on the lake with lot to see. Beautiful park in the town center. Beautiful monasteries near by (St. Anna and Vodite). Short ride away from Drobeta Turnu Severin on one side and Baile Herculane on the other with a lot more amazing places to see. The city is very well placed around Danube River, mountains and 30 km away from thermal baths in Herculane. You can enjoy the city in all seasons. Can get a walk around the Danube or klimb the hills around. Can get on top of the hill/mountain and have a spectacular view of the Danube both on Romanian and Serbian sides. It is close to go to thermal baths in Herculane, just 3 kms away. It is great for water sports or just enjoying a boat/ship cruise along the Danube. Can also serve fresh fish in the local restaurants.
